About Susana
Hi! I’m Susana Gómez McCarthy, and I offer personalized, engaging English lessons for students of all levels—from beginners to advanced. Whether you're preparing for an exam, brushing up on your conversational skills, or need academic or professional English, I’m here to help you succeed. I’m a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, born and raised in Córdoba, Spain, with strong Irish roots. I attended the British School of Córdoba for 15 years and achieved A-Levels with top grades, including an A* in Spanish. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts International in Economics and Politics at University College Cork (UCC), where I achieved First Class Honors in my first year and am continuing to perform at a high level. I’ve lived and studied in both Spain and Ireland, so I understand the challenges of learning in a second language—and how to make it easier, enjoyable, and motivating.
