About Leila May
I was raised in France until I turned 17, when I moved to England for my studies. I have been traveling between both since ! My mother is British so I'm also fluent in English. I'm 21 now !
I study physical theatre at E15, and do a lot of accent work there ! I do well with children as well as adults, and have experience with neurodivergent students (my partner has ADHD).

I offer lessons to :
- Learn some essentials before a holiday (ask for the bathroom, where to buy a croissant, looking for someone or directions...)
- Learn slang and conversation starters
- conversations to expand your vocabulary and to practice before speaking to other French people !
-Accent work to get pronunciations right, through your own phonetic language (how you hear and visualise sounds) using world renown techniques used by actors !
Either through conversation, or a preferred activity - games, cooking...
Usual length of lesson : 1h, but I'm flexible !
Qualifications and Experience as a tutor : French nationality, I grew up there ! French baccalaureate .. Haven't tutored many people, but have been teaching my partner French for the past few months ! I have a lot of experience in accent work, having to learn different accents for my studies.
