About Rachel
I am a third year university student studying my first year of Psychology & Animal Behaviour after spending two years studying Film and English in a Bachelor of Arts (Enhanced Program for High Achievers). I am passionate about both the English language and English literature, as well as helping people achieve their best! I received an ATAR of 98.85 and a Merit Award in Media Studies when I completed high school in 2015, and I have full DCSI and Working with Children clearance :)

My teaching method is based around highlighting areas for improvement and implementing strategies to work on these. For example, each session you may bring a new area you would like to focus on, or we may spend a few sessions working on the same area - at the beginning and end of each session I will ask you where you want the focus to go! I also offer remote tutoring by providing feedback and proofreading/editing on assessments before they are submitted; this is an excellent option when you want to improve on your essay writing as a whole and would like advice specific to the assignment you have.

Details
Travel rate for a distance of 20km away will be proportionate to the amount of time spent at the session; if I spend two hours or more at the destination then there will be no travel rate, but if I spend one hour at the destination then there will be a $10 travel fee.
Additionally, for remote support such as proofreading and editing, a $15 fee will apply per assignment.
