About Disha
I am Disha, and I am currently in my first year of medicine at the University of Leeds. I am a friendly and encouraging tutor who has worked with a wide range of ages, mostly with high-school and A-level students. I acheived a grade 9 in all eleven of my GCSEs and a grade A in my Maths, Biology and Chemistry A-levels. I love to learn, and I always try to inspire this same belief in my students; it's not about what you learn, but how you learn it. Once you find a learning style that works for you, even the most challenging subjects can be conquered.

I always aim to make my lessons as interactive as possible so that students can practice applying the knowledge they are learning - I do this by constantly incorporating exam questions and have students explain their thought process behind how they solve these questions. I do this to make sure that 1. the student can break down problems step-by-step and 2. I understand each individual student and can cater my lessons to their personal areas of development. Not every student will learn the same way, and I pride myself on being able to adapt to every learning style so that no matter who I am teaching and what level they are starting on, I can get them to their desired goal.

Details
I charge £25 per hour, and I do offer a free hour for the very first session - this is so you can trial a lesson with me and make sure you feel I am the right fit for you. If you decide to book with me in bulk, I offer £25 off for the 5 hour package, and £50 off for the 10 hour package
