About Malika
I am a first-year student at The Australian National University studying a double degree in International Relations and Medical Science. I received 49/50 in Extension 1 English as well as a band 6 in English Advanced. I have a love for writing, reading and learning and hope that I can ignite this passion in my students. I would love to share my knowledge and advice with students in order to guide them to reach their goals and full potential.

I offer 1 hr lessons via Zoom for students in years 9-11 as well as for English Advanced and English Extension 1 HSC students. The lesson structure will be personalised and catered towards the student's needs, preferences and goals.
I provide constructive written and verbal feedback and techniques for essays, assignments and assessments. For students in grades 9-10, I can assist with homework tasks, as well as essay structure to provide the student with improved confidence in their written expression for writing tasks in later years.
For HSC students, I can provide my own notes and ideas for certain books and readings to consolidate the student's understanding of a topic. Additionally, I offer study and exam tips and provide guidance on how to construct a sophisticated and original essay that incorporates nuanced ideas. For Extension 1 students, I can assist in structuring a comparative essay and provide examples of my personal essays and critical/creative responses.
