About Natalie
I believe maths should feel logical, approachable, and even enjoyable. Having studied Higher and Further Mathematics at GCSE and Mathematics at A-Level, I know how important strong foundations are. I now study Economics and Politics at the University of Glasgow, where mathematics plays a major role in my Economics degree.
My mission is to turn mathematical anxiety into confidence. I break difficult concepts down into manageable steps, helping students understand the logic behind what they are doing rather than simply memorising formulas. With strong foundations and the right approach, even the hardest topics can become understandable!

Every lesson starts with the foundations. I will first get to know the student, identify the areas of the syllabus they find most difficult, and tailor each lesson around their individual needs. I break complex topics down into clear, manageable steps so students can build their understanding and confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
As exams approach, lessons become more focused on exam technique, past papers, and learning how to approach unfamiliar questions calmly and effectively. I know how important it is to understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the method works.
Homework is never compulsory. If a student feels they would benefit from extra practice, I can provide tailored questions, but the decision is completely in their hands.
