About Callum
I am a First-Class Psychology and Human Neuroscience graduate with a professional background in research and high-acuity mental health settings. My approach to tutoring is built on the belief that academic success comes from understanding the logic behind a subject, not just memorising facts. Whether you are a student working toward GCSEs and A-Levels or an undergraduate tackling complex neuroscience, psychological research methods, or statistical analysis, I provide the structure and clarity you need to succeed.
Having successfully led end-to-end development on assistive neurotechnology devices and published my own research, I have a deep understanding of the practical application of the subjects I teach. My work in the NHS has equipped me with the patience and communication skills to support students through high-pressure exam periods and complex module requirements. I am dedicated to creating a calm, focused environment where we can identify your specific learning roadblocks and dismantle them together. First-Class Neuroscience & Psychology Graduate | Maths, Science & Psychology Tutor
I am a First-Class MPsych graduate with a background in neuroscience research and frontline NHS mental health work. I don’t believe in rote memorisation, I believe in stripping away the jargon to make complex concepts click. My tutoring style is results-driven, whether you are aiming for top grades at A-Level or struggling with complex research methods at university.
I specialise in making difficult statistics; including R, Jamovi, and SPSS, and advanced neurological processes feel logical and manageable. My sessions are usually 60–90 minutes of active problem-solving where we identify your specific roadblocks and dismantle them.
Because of my experience in high-acuity psychiatric care, I offer a calm, supportive environment, even when a subject feels overwhelming. You won't just learn the material; you’ll gain the confidence to apply it effectively. I am here to help you get results, whether you need intensive exam prep for your GCSEs and A-Levels, or expert guidance on experimental design and data analysis for your university modules.
