About Chee Sheng
I am an experienced tutor and specialist exam coach. Many of my students had achieved unprecedented success despite not being in selective schools.
I read Chemistry at Oxford University on a Brunei Government Ministry of Education scholarship and later won (competitively) a fully funded PhD place at Australian National University ANU for international students.
I continue to be fascinated by how students think about Chemistry and years of honing my teaching skills with common misconceptions help me to understand learners much better than when I first started teaching nearly a decade ago.

I have tutored many students internationally online via screen-sharing and more so since the pandemic.
Oxford has taught me to be concise and yet possess strong level of coherence and logic in my thought processes. I aim to impart these same skills in my teaching to all my students.
I tutor all levels of Chemistry up to HSC/University level. No two lessons are ever the same. With one-on-one support, you have greater confidence to bounce back from mistakes and learn better from feedback given.
A typical lesson is about 1 hour but HSC/University level students would find 1.5-2 hour lessons more useful. I have flexible time of course, and am willing to work around students' busy schedule.
