About Ilayda
I recently graduated with a First-Class degree in Mathematics with Finance and Economics, and I achieved an A* in both GCSE and A-Level Maths.
I’ve always had a passion for maths and I really enjoy explaining things in a way that feel simple and clear. I know maths can be stressful when it doesn’t make sense, so I like to be patient and break things down step by step.
I’m friendly, organised and understanding, and I want to help students feel more confident with maths and reach their goals.

My lessons are patient, clear and focused on what the student needs help with. I’m happy to work with students of different abilities and confidence levels, whether they need help understanding the basics or want to improve their exam technique. 
In the first lesson, we can make a plan together and set goals so we know what we are working towards. I’m also very flexible, so I’m happy to follow a structured plan or go over any work you send me during the week.
I believe the best way to learn maths is by practising questions, learning from mistakes, and developing the right technique and structure for answering questions. This would be a big part of my lessons, especially for GCSE and A-Level exam preparation.
My aim is to help students build confidence, reach their goals, and make studying maths feel less stressful and more enjoyable.
