About Philip
Growing up, I benefited from an education which challenged me and developed both my academic and interpersonal skills. Now, I want to return the favour and offer students the ability to develop their skills, confidence and enthusiasm for their subject.
In my free time I like to go hiking in the Peak District, play Ultimate Frisbee, watch movies and TV, and play video games.

I teach hour-long lessons for primary and secondary school students. I have worked in a primary school as a teaching assistant and have volunteered for a charity that helps students to pass their English & Maths GCSEs.
My sessions begin with some warm-up exercises. We will then focus on a topic the pupil finds challenging. Once we have established the content behind the topic, we will then practise it with a series of exercises.
