About Jack
As someone who loves mathematics, my aim as a teacher is to share this passion. My aim is to show students how maths can be a creative, collaborative and rewarding subject. I have been a teaching assistant and private tutor throughout my time at high school and university, and have been a full-time classroom teacher for the last 6 months since graduating university.

I take a personalised and active approach to learning, with a focus on discussing mathematical thinking and developing confidence. Having taught primary school maths lessons as part of my degree, and having been a secondary school classroom teaching assistant well as a private tutor, I know how to make lessons engaging and keep my students motivated. Lessons typically last 45 mins - 1 hour, but longer sessions can be arranged.
