About Erin

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and have completed Safeguarding Training. I studied Psychology at the University of Bristol following my love of the subject at A level. I achieved a First Class degree and consistently achieved a First during my first and second years of university. However, I understand what it feels like to feel out of your depth with academics. Multiple times during A level Psychology and my degree I have felt hopeless and lost especially in not understanding how I learn best. I want to flesh out your strengths so we can together establish the best study plan for you. I have worked with students who need help refining their exam technique and others who need help revising topic knowledge. I am as passionate about helping others as I am at achieving my goals. I always stress the importance of breaking down complex concepts into clear explanations. Having had previous tutoring and mentoring experience, I understand the need to adapt to each student's unique requirements and concerns. I am able to instil confidence and guide independent learning, two factors I believe are crucial during A levels! I am super flexible to wherever you need extra support including providing lessons from 30 minutes to an 1.5 hours. I hope to help you feel more enthusiastic and confident about psychology so you can achieve the grade you want! 

I have previously used Google Meet to conduct online tutoring sessions and connected this with a whiteboard platform so we can work together on the focus for the session, but I am happy to adapt this to your needs as well as use different resources in-person.

I can also support Psychology undergraduate learnings especially in developing critical thinking and analysis skills for essays or aiding with research methods.
