About Lauren
My name is Lauren and I am a current university graduate, soon-to-be traveller of Central and South America, and prospective screenwriter! Having achieved straight A*s at both GCSE and A-Level levels and recently receiving a First in my English Literature degree, I am hoping to give some pearls of wisdom to the next generation of students - even to those who perhaps think picking up a book is the worst thing in the world... I promise it's not that bad!

Lessons are tailored to each student to suit their desired learning styles and to focus on specific areas for improvement (which will be discussed in the initial session). Sessions may take a particular focus on honing exam technique, developing linguistic and structural style and flair, understanding how to read texts, and - most importantly - developing an intelligence for why these texts are read and learnt in our society. Typical sessions will run for 1hr and can be taught at GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate levels.
