About Jennifer
Hi! I'm Jennifer and I'm a First-Class Computer Science graduate from the University of Birmingham with a passion for problem-solving and making tech accessible to everyone. I offer tutoring in both Maths and Computer Science, helping students build confidence and master key concepts. With experience in software development, web technologies, and teaching, I love breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand ideas. I’ve worked as a Computer Science teaching assistant and taught in secondary schools, where I made lessons engaging through interactive activities and gamified learning. My goal is to build confidence in my students by tailoring lessons to their learning style and ensuring they truly understand the "why" behind concepts—not just the "how." Whether you're looking to improve your coding skills, understand key Computer Science principles, or get support with coursework, I'm here to help!

Everyone's learning style is different, so I will ensure to learn and understand yours to prepare and structure lessons in the best way for you. I am flexible with lesson duration (1 hour recommended) and frequency depending on your progress and goals. I have over 1 year of previous experience in tutoring and have worked as a Teaching Assistant within a secondary school before and have run a lunchtime Computing Club for students aged 11-16.
