About Lawrence
I did my BSc (hons) Biomedical Sciences degree at The University of Manchester and thoroughly enjoyed my time. In fact, I enjoyed it enough to set my sights on PhD applications for the following year. During my undergraduate degree I studied a range of biology topics and carried out a research project on Alzheimer's Disease. Even now, I am reading recent news and doing my best to stay up to speed with recent breakthroughs.
I enjoy reading, listening to music, and socialising with friends, when I am not working at the hospital. My favourite book is a fantasy book called Name of the Wind and I recommend it whole heartedly.

My favoured approach to tutoring is to test different teaching strategies targetting a variety of learning styles because we all learn differently. With this knowledge, I will endevour to tailor our sessions together to keep you engaged whilst helping you build your understanding of key concepts.
With my up to date and broad real world experience, I hope I can impart my knowledge and strenghthen your understanding of biology. I have previously tutored first year biology undergraduate students, and will use this experience to patiently test your understanding and support you in building a solid foundation.
