About Kourosh

I am a First Class Biochemistry graduate from the University of Birmingham. I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) as well as Mathematics, alongside almost all other GCSE subjects.

With a strong academic foundation in the sciences, I have developed a deep understanding of scientific concepts and enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students not only improve their grades, but also develop a genuine understanding and confidence in Biology and Chemistry.

As a First Class Biochemistry graduate from the University of Birmingham, I specialise in helping GCSE and A-level students break down complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable ideas. I focus on building strong foundations, improving exam technique, and teaching students how to apply their knowledge effectively to achieve their target grades.

Every lesson is personalised to the student’s needs. Whether you are struggling with difficult topics, aiming for top grades, preparing for exams, or looking to strengthen your scientific understanding, I will create a structured approach to help you progress.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on active learning. Rather than simply memorising information, I help students understand the “why” behind scientific processes so they can answer questions with confidence.
