I am an Engineer from electronics and communication from RVCE, ranked the best college in Bangalore. Academics was always my forte, and with utmost modesty, I have topped my school and college multiple times. The first step towards a successful class is to get their attention. This can be done by lightening up their mood by some mild humour and make them want to listen to you.
What follows next is to get them interested in the subject by giving examples that they can relate to and the necessity of knowing that part of subject in their life.
The third step is a smooth transition into the real matter, problem solving , techniques and adequate help.
Finally it’s the time to ensure they that they are encouraged to ask questions and their doubts are cleared to the best of my abilities.
It’s a well known fact that students learn better from friends before an exam than in class from a teacher. The aim is to be more of a friend-teacher than a teacher-teacher and our narrow age gap might come in handy.
