About Megha

Hi, I’m Megha, a former practicing architect who found herself overwhelmed by the constant rush of modern life. Like many, I struggled with work-life imbalance, mental exhaustion, and growing impatience. My demanding lifestyle also began to take a toll on my health, leading to issues like poor digestion. In search of relief, I turned to Vipassana and yoga, which became my path to transformation. Gradually, yoga helped me find balance, mental clarity, and improved health.

This personal journey inspired me to dive deeper into yoga and share this life-changing practice with others. I understand the pressures of modern life, and I design my classes to help you manage stress, improve well-being, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re looking to reduce anxiety, improve flexibility, or simply take a break from the daily grind, I’m here to guide you on your journey toward a healthier, more centered life.

  • 1. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    Yoga started as a personal healing journey for me. After years in architecture, I turned to yoga to manage physical stiffness and mental fatigue. The transformation was so powerful that I felt called to deepen my practice and share it with others.
  • 2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    My own healing through yoga inspired me to teach. It brought balance to my body and mind, and I felt a strong urge to share that with others.
  • 3. How does your work help society?

    I help people reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, and build emotional resilience through yoga. In a fast-paced world, even one hour of mindful movement and stillness can shift how someone shows up-for themselves and others.
  • 4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    B.K.S. Iyengar is my role model. His focus on alignment and mindful movement taught me that yoga is about awareness, not just flexibility. I try to bring that clarity and depth into my own teaching.
  • 5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside teaching, I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling to quiet nature spots, and reading books on mindfulness and healing. It helps me stay inspired and grounded.
