About Kiki
Hi, I’m Kiki, a Financial Modeling major at Western University — and someone who’s been through some of the most intense academic programs out there, like the IGCSEs and the IB. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to juggle deadlines, absorb complex concepts, and try to stay confident under pressure. That’s why I’m here: not just to teach, but to support students who are navigating those same challenges now. After years of pushing through those demanding programs, I’ve reached a place where I feel genuinely confident in my math and English abilities — and I want to help others feel that same sense of strength. I know what it’s like to finally get a tough topic or score higher than you ever expected in a subject that used to scare you. That kind of progress feels empowering, and I want as many students as possible to experience that shift. Outside of academics, I’m a total bookworm — I’ve loved reading and writing since I was young. I even run a blog and have kept journals for years, so when I teach English, I bring a real love for language, expression, and storytelling into every lesson. Whether you’re aiming to boost your grades, understand a concept that’s never quite clicked, or just feel more in control of your learning, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build from there — patiently, clearly, and with zero judgment. Hi, I’m Kiki, a Financial Modeling major at Western University with A*s in IGCSE Math and English, and high grades in university-level Calculus II and III. I’ve been through rigorous academic programs like the IGCSE and IB, so I understand the pressure and high standards students face — and I’m here to help make that journey smoother. I’m passionate about breaking down difficult concepts in a way that’s clear, relatable, and easy to understand. Whether it’s tackling a tough calculus topic or getting through tricky algebra, I focus on helping you really understand the “why” behind the steps — not just memorize them. My lessons typically begin by going over a topic and explaining it in simple terms, followed by lots of guided practice problems so you build confidence and retain what you learn. I adjust my pace and approach based on your comfort level, and I always aim to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions.
