About Tharun

Hi! I’m a recent Finance graduate with hands-on experience across investment banking, private equity, corporate development, and now Commercial Banking at a Big 5 bank. Having worked in multiple areas of high finance, I understand what it takes to succeed academically and professionally and I love helping students do the same. I’ve gone through the competitive recruiting cycles myself, secured multiple finance internships, and now work full-time in banking. Along the way, I’ve learned how to simplify complex topics, communicate clearly, and teach in a way that feels supportive, engaging, and confidence-building. I’m passionate about two things: - Helping students excel in math and finance classes, regardless of their starting point. - Guiding aspiring professionals through interviews, internships, and career planning with real-world insights from someone who has actually been through the journey. Students describe my style as patient, structured, and practical. I make sure you not only learn the material, but actually understand it — whether that’s a tricky math topic or a challenging finance technical.
