About Micha

I am a final-year Law student at the University of Manchester with a genuine passion for Mathematics. Having achieved an A* in A Level Maths and a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths, I understand both the challenges and rewards of mastering the subject. Tutoring allows me to share my enthusiasm for Maths while helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style, and pace. Whether you're looking to improve your understanding, prepare for exams, or boost your confidence, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome.

I am friendly, approachable, and patient, making it easy for students of all ages and abilities to feel comfortable during lessons. I also understand that busy schedules can make tutoring difficult, so I am happy to offer flexibility wherever possible.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy travelling and learning about different cultures. These experiences have helped me become open-minded, adaptable, and able to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds—qualities that I bring to every tutoring session.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, ensuring that we focus on the topics where they need the most support. Before each session, I prepare personalised resources and carefully selected practice questions based on the areas you would like to improve, whether that's strengthening core skills, tackling difficult topics, or preparing for exams.

During lessons, I explain concepts step by step, work through example questions together, and then give you the opportunity to apply what you've learnt independently with my guidance and feedback. I encourage students to ask as many questions as they need, creating a supportive environment where they can build confidence without feeling pressured.

To reinforce learning, I provide practice questions to complete between sessions. At the start of each lesson, we review any difficulties you encountered before moving on, ensuring that no gaps in understanding are left behind. This structured approach helps students develop both their mathematical ability and their confidence over time.

I have previously tutored GCSE Mathematics, with students going on to achieve Grades 8 and 9. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results but also to develop a genuine understanding of the subject so they feel prepared for their exams and beyond.
