About Jake
Further to reading Spanish and Latin American Studies at University College London, I have extensive experience teaching the Spanish language.
The key to learning and mastering a foreign language is patience. It is in this spirit I teach!
My lessons are conducted through a supportive environment, in which questions are always welcomed from you, the student.
Languages are the gateway to social connection and happiness shared with others. It is the top priority for me to ensure you are as comfortable with Spanish as you are with your native tongue, so as to truly enjoy the rewards of learning and mastering this wonderful language.

My lessons will stretch you as a student through an engaging, fun, goal-oriented, and immersive teaching style that will inspire confidence in your dexterity around this wonderful language.
If you are tired of flashcards and monochrome grammar books, my lessons are for you! My lessons are primarily focused on conversation and will be based on supplementary materials which I will bring to each session. Here is a non-exhaustive list:

- Songs
- Stand-up comedy programmes if you're feeling adventurous!
Lessons are typically 1 - 2 hours and are suitable for adults and students of all levels.
Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate, or an expert just wishing to polish some skills, I can happily tailor-make a lesson plan to match your requirements.
I also provide tuition for Spanish GCSE and A-Levels from the AQA Examination Board, as well as tuition for University students wishing to better their comprehension, writing, and oral skills.
