About Shilla

I’m not just your biology teacher—I’m someone who once sat exactly where you are now.
I’ve been the student who felt overwhelmed by textbooks, confused by complex diagrams, and frustrated by having to memorize things that didn’t seem to make sense. But somewhere along the way, I realized something important—biology isn’t about memorizing facts. It’s about understanding life, in the most real and human way possible.
I chose to teach because I don’t want you to go through biology the way many students are forced to—lost, pressured, and disconnected. I want to change that.
I want to share knowledge because I’ve seen what it can do. It can turn fear into curiosity. It can turn confusion into clarity. And sometimes, it can even give you the power to help another human being—whether that’s understanding a disease, supporting someone struggling, or simply understanding your own body better.
For me, teaching isn’t about finishing a syllabus.
It’s about making sure something stays with you even after the class ends.
I’m here to guide you, challenge you, and learn with you.
Because knowledge isn’t something I “give” you—it’s something we build together.
And if, at the end of this journey, you start seeing biology not as a subject but as a story of life—you’ll understand exactly why I chose to teach.

About the lesson

Imagine walking into a biology class where you’re not expected to memorize pages—you’re expected to understand life itself.
In my class, biology won’t be a subject you “study.” It will be something you experience.
We won’t start with definitions. We’ll start with questions.
Why does your heart race when you’re scared?
Why do some people get addicted while others don’t?
How does a single cell become you?
Instead of cramming diagrams the night before exams, you’ll learn how to think like a scientist. You’ll connect biology to real life—patients, emotions, diseases, and even your own body.
There will be stories—of discoveries, failures, and breakthroughs.
There will be discussions where your ideas matter more than textbook lines.
There will be moments where something finally clicks—and you realize biology isn’t hard, it was just taught wrong before.
You won’t just prepare for exams.
You’ll prepare to understand the world, your body, and maybe even save lives one day.
And most importantly—you won’t leave my class asking,
“Will this come in the exam?”
You’ll leave asking,
“How does this actually work?”
That’s when I’ll know I’ve done my job.
