About Sarah
My name is Sarah and I am a final year medical student at the University of Manchester. I have always really enjoyed teaching which is often incorporated in our degree, not only with other students but also when explaining concepts to patients! I know how confusing maths and science concepts can be and I really want to help break it down to make it a lot more enjoyable to learn!

I focus on building a strong understanding by breaking challenging topics down step-by-step from first principles, rather than relying on rote memorisation. This understanding is then reinforced through active recall and targeted practice questions to ensure students can confidently apply their knowledge in exams. I tailor my teaching to each individual, using a combination of visual explanations, discussion, written work and hands-on practice where appropriate. I also provide clear guidance on how to retain knowledge between sessions and set engaging, manageable tasks to make learning effective without feeling overwhelming.
