Hi! I’m a final-year BSc Mathematics and Actuarial Science student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed in maths. I offer structured, personalised tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students, whether you're looking to improve your confidence, strengthen your understanding, or prepare for exams. With experience supporting students through mentoring and tutoring, I create a friendly and focused learning environment where no question is too small. My Approach to Tutoring As a final-year BSc Mathematics and Actuarial Science student, I combine a strong academic background with a friendly, patient approach to help students build both confidence and understanding in maths. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual learning styles, focusing on clarity, problem-solving, and exam technique. Teaching Methodology: I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use plenty of examples to ensure concepts are fully understood. I also encourage active participation through questions and guided practice, helping students develop independent thinking skills. For exam preparation, I use past papers and focus on building strong foundational knowledge. Lesson Length: Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible based on the student’s needs and attention span. Qualifications & Experience: Final-year student studying BSc Mathematics and Actuarial Science Strong academic record in maths and statistics Experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in both one-on-one and group settings Peer mentoring and ambassador roles at university, supporting students academically Who I Teach: I offer tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14–18), but I’m also happy to support younger students or those preparing for university-level maths.
