About Jiaan
I enjoy what I learn in the university. In my individual computing statistic coursework using R language, I achieved A score and my linear regression modelling prediction power was higher than 80% of my classmates. The datafile contains 5k entries and over 20 variables. I did insightful exploratory analysis to seek different combination of variables and being creative in using different techniques to draw patterns from the data.
I am also a good team player not only in academic area but also in university society. I have been elected to be the career director in the UCL Leading Women Society. And I am currently working with a committee group of 6 people who have different international background to plan for new semester guest speaker series and partnership with companies from various industries such as finance and law.
I hope I could bring more people into STEM in university and help them find the right way to study.
