About Elise
I am a film scholar, with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies, with a concentration in the relationship between history and visual culture. Possessing experience in editing of scholarly journals as well as symposium presentations and lectures, I also run a personal film criticism site. Throughout my own schooling, I became the student many looked to translate and explain sometimes complicated histories and concepts, especially when papers or projects proved frustrating or overwhelming. I provided help on research starting points, scholarly material, and writing/preparation technique. My goal is to make something difficult or hard to understand more accessible and create a smoother process (at a hopefully affordable tag).
