About Maria
Hi! I’m Maria, a first-year BS Psychology student with a strong academic background in Humanities and Social Sciences. I have experience in research, writing, presentations, and working with others through various academic and student projects. I’m patient, approachable, and willing to adjust to different learning styles. As a part-time student tutor, I hope to make learning less intimidating and help students understand their lessons with greater confidence.

My teaching approach focuses on making lessons clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s learning pace, strengths, and areas for improvement. A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by an explanation of the topic using simple examples and real-life situations, then practice activities and a recap. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without hesitation. I am currently taking BS Psychology and offer part-time tutoring for senior high school and college students, particularly in Psychology, Humanities, Social Sciences, and related subjects.
