About Maggie
Having taught economics in a Chinese university for more than a decade, I have the language capability, teaching/communicating skills and most importantly, the passion for teaching. My teaching will allow you to naturally incorporate the language skills into your everyday life with either your chinese parents or friends; it will help you develop confidence in speaking the language without feeling stiff and intentional. Learning a new and unfamiliar language is indeed hard, but it shouldn't be stressful like your usual academic course by any means. With my teaching, you will have fun in the process and progress gradually in not only your mandarin skills, but also in your interest and love for both the language and the culture.
