About Jeffrey
I am currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Medical Science at ANU. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, whether it's helping friends and classmates with math problems or supporting students in my hometown to gain confidence in the subjects they want to improve in. I believe that a good tutor can make a lasting impact, not only by helping students achieve academic proficiency but also by fostering skills and a mindset that will benefit them long after high school and university.

I believe in using strengths-based approaches to tutoring, focusing on developing students' skills rather than dwelling on their difficulties. Each lesson starts by addressing any concerns the student has about previous material or current challenges in school. Once these are clarified, we work together to overcome these challenges, whether by breaking down key concepts into simpler terms or reinforcing understanding through targeted practice questions.
To keep students engaged and focused, I find that a one-hour lesson strikes the perfect balance between productive study time and avoiding burnout.
With two years of tutoring experience during my degree and a commitment to continuously improving my skills, I am eager to share my knowledge and help students achieve their full potential as I guide them along their educational journey.
