About Benjamin
I first began giving weekly English speaking lessons in junior year of high school to a Chinese international student. In addition, I gave study classes to two students in my geography class all of which past the necessary exams with distinction, so I have a strong background with teaching high school level students. As a physics major I have got experience in both calculus and physics studies. Experience in the laboratory also helps me with having a greater knowledge for the study of physics.

When teaching a class I strongly believe that the student needs to fully understand concepts before tackling practice problems. To do this I allow the student to grasp the contents of physics using their own knowledge and ways of understanding, for which I am there to aid and explain anything that appears out of the ordinary or complicated to them. As a physics major and mathematics minor I fully understand the concepts at a high school level and will be able to explain them within depth to help my students progress. As a teacher I have one aim, and that is to get my students to receive a grade that is outstanding for them in their classes. Seeing your students perform highly is always thrilling as a teacher, and that's why I always aim for my students to increase their current grade by two letters by the conclusion of their class, or to bump them up that little to receive an A grade.
