About Zaid
I studied eight GCSEs at secondary school and was one of the top performers in my school. Since the start of Year 11, I have wanted to set up a platform in which students can engage in interactive lessons and actually achieve something, rather than mindlessly paying hundreds of pounds on useless tuition. My sole aim is to ensure that all my students go on to get the best grades possible and can pursue whatever goals they set for themselves.

My teaching methods involve simplifying the concepts of both GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature. I make all my lessons interactive and student weakness-led, to ensure all gaps are filled and no topic/concept (no matter how small) is left out.
English Language - I will teach the key, unique exam techniques that will ensure that your child feels confident. My approach to the highest mark sections (Section B) as well as the smaller questions, is one that is not very common, but one that gets the best results.
English Literature - I believe that memorising all the texts and all the poems by heart is absurd. It is a waste of time and makes your grades worse as you only cover a broad view of the poem rather than develop a deeper understanding. I will teach the deeper, more critical concepts, that ensure that top grade.
I completed my GCSE's in 2024 and achieved a Grade 8 in both English Language and Literature. As I have experienced this process myself, I know the best way to progress with this course. I am also an A-level English Literature student, so I also have extra useful knowledge which can be used to impress your examiner!
