About Eleni Ann
With my education of BA in Russian Literature with an emphasis on applied critical theory, I also have a Doctoral degree in East Asian Medical studies. I graded papers as a Teacher's Assistant for years at the graduate level and have extensive experience in research papers as well as literary and philosophical analysis. I am compassionate, and have a straightforward style that focuses on simplicity and structure, which students find helpful. I believe once you have a basic structure, the person's creativity and intellect can really flow into a piece of writing.

I can offer a wide range of types of drills. I like to work with drilling in the in-class essay, and in creating structure for an argument quickly. Understanding rhetorical structure of an analytical paper is crucial in all English studies, and can ultimately help with being able to read a text with better comprehension. The timed essay is the basis of standardized testing, and so drilling with this is the best way to improve ACT scores.
