About Rowynn

I bring over 20 years of teaching experience to the table, backed by an MPhil in Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory, and an MFA in Art History. My approach blends academic rigor with personalized lesson planning, offering students a structured, in-depth learning experience grounded in both classical and contemporary thought.

My commitment to Art History and Philosophy is not just professional—it’s lifelong and deeply personal. I work closely with each student to build confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and foster intellectual independence. I prioritize professionalism, clarity, and a tailored approach to ensure every session is both enriching and impactful.

Whether you're navigating course requirements or pursuing independent study, our work together will open up new ways of seeing, thinking, and understanding.

About the lesson

About My Lessons – What to Expect
With an MPhil in Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory, coupled with an MFA in Art History, I bring a unique blend of expertise to my teaching. Expect engaging, lecture-style lessons tailored to your goals, with reading assignments and structured support—whether you’re pursuing academic success or personal enrichment.

Booking & No-Show Policy:

I book all lessons at least one week in advance to allow time for customized preparation.

Intro sessions (30 min) are not full lessons but serve to clarify goals, expectations, and scheduling.

I wait up to 15 minutes for late arrivals. After that, the session is marked as a no-show.

Repeated no-shows may result in a refusal of future bookings.

My hourly rate reflects not only the live session, but also the time I spend designing a tailored curriculum for each student.

Perfect! Rowynn is a dedicated teacher who goes the extra mile for her students, whether that is making introductions, giving advice, or typing out pages and pages of reference notes. Her philosophical knowledge is impressive and she explains every concept in a simple, clear way. I look forward to every one of our sessions, and highly recommend her to anyone who would like to study continental philosophy.
