About Ranae
I enjoy English. I have always loved writing since I can remember in the form of essays, poetry, or creative writing. I believe it is a beautiful way to express yourself. I have helped and tutored people before this and have always done my best to ensure they leave my sessions with a better understanding of the subject. I will keep things professional, with specific hours in which I can be contacted for help and absolutely no contact over the weekends or outside of hours established as "study" or "office" hours unless we schedule a proper meeting, or if an emergency happens to come up. I will also keep talking about personal life matters to little to none during our sessions.

I don't have a specific teaching method I like to teach in a manner that fits the person I am aiding. For example, if my student gets a better understanding from visuals I put together a PowerPoint, but if they learn from hands-on I give them prompts to write about and work on. My lesson plan fully revolves around the subject matter my student needs help with. Once I get an understanding of what they require assistance with I start with the basics and work my way deeper into the topic from there. My lessons are for anyone K-12 so any age range within that. I am willing to help students better their understanding of English since it is a subject I am very fond of.
