About Sarah
I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Women's Studies from Aligarh Muslim University. I have expertise in teaching writing, comprehension, and grammar. With my major subject, critical analysis of the more mundane things in life becomes a habit, which comes in handy in a field like literature. I want to be able to help people grasp this knowledge and apply it as well, because in this era of AI and anti-intellectualism, media literacy and reading comprehension is a necessary skill to have.

• I teach in a way that doesn't feel lack lustre or repetitive, many students tend to shy away from literature because the writing feels too complex or difficult to comprehend. That is not the case if you have a basic grasp on the concepts of literary devices and how we apply them in our day to day life.
• I will focus on individual learning and assign tasks to bring attention to the strengths and weaknesses of each student. These will include reading articles, class texts, analysis of poetry and literary devices and the importance of understanding the themes and symbolism of each text and the usage of grammar and punctuation.
• I wish to create a safe space for students to be able to ask questions without any fear of embarrassment. I realized my penchant for literature and teaching through helping my
cousins, juniors and batchmates with understanding the syllabus for their tests. I am patient and value consistency and effort so students can learn to break down concepts and understand them better.
