About Jasmine

I am a Dental student and UCLA alumna with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and an Associate Degree for Transfer in Biology, Natural Sciences, and Chemistry. Currently, I’m a dental student with over 10 years of tutoring experience. My passion for teaching began with a desire to help students overcome academic challenges, particularly in chemistry, organic chemistry, calculus, and DAT preparation. Having navigated the demanding path to dentistry myself, I understand how stressful it can be, and I’m here to make it easier by providing clear guidance and effective strategies. I also offer personalized support with dental school applications, sharing insights that have helped other students succeed. About the lesson

I have been tutoring math since 2013, specializing in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Trigonometry. With a solid background in biology, I also excelled in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, earning A grades. Over the years, I’ve developed practical tips and strategies to simplify these challenging subjects. For example, I helped a student improve her Organic Chemistry score from 82% to 94%.

Additionally, having taken the DAT myself, and achieving AA 26, TS 25, PA 27 I’ve successfully coached students for the test—one improved their score from 19 to 23 in just one month, while another achieved an outstanding 26. I’ve also guided multiple students through the dental school application process. Whether you're working on coursework, preparing for the DAT, or navigating applications, I’m here to help you succeed!
