About Nick
I enjoy teaching at all levels and I have taught maths froM primary school level up to undergraduate university level. I am currently head of maths in a secondary school with over 15 years experience teaching maths at GCSE and A level.

Progress in Maths is all about unlocking understanding followed by practice. By using my years of experience, I take great satisfaction in explaining concepts in a way that my tutees understand. This unlocks the maths for them which all of my students have found very satisfying. Together, my tutees and I use lessons to identify and fill any gaps in learning or understand. I love mathematics and therefore I pursued my own learning to PhD level. I also love teaching and tutoring which is why I have spent my career helping others to find the love of maths that I have found. I am an Advanced Skills Teacher and I am responsible for training teaches within two separate organisations.
