About the lesson

I’m a Physics tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Particle Physics. Over time, I discovered a deep passion for acoustics and noise control physics. I enjoy helping students understand how sound moves, changes, and reacts within different spaces. In my lessons, I focus on sound propagation and how waves travel through air and materials. I also teach sound absorption, showing how surfaces and structures influence loudness and clarity.

We explore the science of reverberation and why some rooms echo while others feel acoustically “clean.” I guide students through the key principles of noise reduction and how smart design choices can control unwanted sound. To make learning practical and engaging, I use architectural acoustics case studies that reveal how real buildings handle sound. These examples connect classroom concepts to actual design challenges.

I also include practical noise measurement techniques so students can see how sound is evaluated in real situations. This applied approach helps build both understanding and confidence.
