About Athiru
As a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor, I am committed to offering exceptional support and guidance that ensures your academic success. With a background in computer engineering and a proven track record of success in teaching various subjects, including english, math, and programming,
I have experience as a teaching assistant at Concordia University, as well as an educator with various organizations including Kumon and Deepbrains AI & Robotics, where I have taught students at all levels and have the ability to adapt my teaching style to your individual needs. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed and it is my goal to help them reach their full potential.
In my engineering degree, I have always been performing at the top 5% of my program for every mathematics or programming course, including 'Advanced Algebra & Geometry', 'Calculus 1-3', 'Python Programming', 'Advanced C++& Java Programming'. In highschool, I excelled in the IB Program, receiving 7s (highest score) for Higher Level Mathematics and Physics.
I developed my love for teaching in highschool, where I would often tutor my friends to excel in the IB program. Since then, I have taught mathematics and programming lessons at DeepBrains AI & Robotics, an organization for middle schoolers to CEGEP Students. Finally, I worked with a professor to teach engineering undergrads. Though-out these experiences, my love for teaching has grown and I am excited to teach you!
