About Salynn

Here’s a bit more about me personally! I have degrees in both Theatre and Education. I moved to Japan in Spring 2024 to pursue another degree in Animation.

I also love exploring creative hobbies such as streaming. Diving into artistic projects, discovering new things, and sharing my experiences often inspires fresh ways to connect with students.

About the lesson

I believe learning should feel exciting and meaningful, not boring or overwhelming. Growing up, I was often told I wasn’t “smart,” and for a long time I believed it. In reality, I just hadn’t found a way of learning that worked for me. This experience shaped my teaching philosophy: every student has the potential to learn, and it is my job as a teacher to find the approach that works for them.

In my lessons, I use pop culture and current trends to make concepts easier to understand and relatable to your everyday life. I design each lesson around your personal goals and interests, so learning feels natural and engaging. Instead of memorizing rules or repeating drills, we explore topics through examples you enjoy and connect with, helping the lesson stick and making the material meaningful.

I focus on building confidence, understanding, and practical skills that you can use in real situations. Every lesson is adapted to your learning style to ensure you feel capable, motivated, and supported while reaching your goals.

My lessons are always interactive, supportive, and fun because I know people learn best when they are engaged and enjoying themselves.
