About Cheril
I am a dedicated educator with over 10 years of experience within the New York City Department of Education, specializing in early childhood and elementary support. Currently pursuing my Master’s in Early Childhood Education, I combine my background in Psychology with research-based instructional strategies like the Science of Reading and the RACE comprehension method. My goal is to move beyond simple compliance and help students develop the self-regulation and internal motivation they need to succeed independently. I pride myself on creating a supportive, high-energy environment where every child feels capable of reaching their next academic milestone.
