As a current Computer Science student at the University of Manchester, I bring both passion and dedication to the subjects I teach—Maths, Computer Science, and Spanish. Having gone through the English education system myself, I understand the challenges students face and the strategies needed to overcome them. As a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, I offer unique insights and real-life language practice that go beyond traditional teaching methods. My motivation for tutoring comes from the belief that learning from someone who has recently been in your position can be incredibly valuable. I understand the specific needs of today’s students and can provide practical advice based on my own experiences—both the successes and the mistakes. I recognize that the approach of some teachers might not always be the most effective, which is why I focus on strategies that truly help students grasp difficult concepts and cover all points of the syllabus. Having just completed my A-levels, I offer up-to-date knowledge of the exams and can guide you on the best resources and techniques to achieve success. About the lesson

My tutoring approach is grounded in the belief that any subject can be mastered when it is broken down into manageable parts. As someone who once struggled with many of the concepts I now teach, I closely relate to students facing similar challenges. My teaching methodology is built on the techniques and thought processes that helped me overcome these difficulties. I focus on creating a long-term plan with clear, achievable milestones, guiding students step by step toward their goals. I believe that verbally walking through problems is the most effective way to learn, starting with the simplest form of a concept and gradually progressing to more complex challenges. This approach has proven particularly effective in Maths and Computer Science, where I ensure that no key sections are overlooked, unlike traditional methods that often jump straight into exercises. For Spanish, I offer a unique combination of grammatical instruction and real-life conversational practice, leveraging my experience as a native speaker who has also excelled in A-level exams. My lessons, typically an hour long, are tailored for GCSE and A-level students, providing them with the tools and confidence to succeed.
