Hi, and welcome! My name is Kelvin. I graduated with a Distinction in MSc Applied Mathematics and achieved A*s in A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I have taught Maths for the past 14 years and currently teach at an international school.

My Teaching Approach
In my lessons, I like to break topics down step by step. I’ll usually start by introducing a new idea and walking through a few clear examples before giving you the chance to try questions yourself. Once you’re confident with the basics, we’ll move on to applying your knowledge to trickier, exam-style problems.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit you. Whether you prefer lots of practice, visual explanations, or a focus on understanding the “why” behind the maths, I’ll make sure our sessions work in a way that helps you get the most out of them.
I believe learning is easiest in a comfortable and supportive environment, so I always encourage my students to ask lots of questions. If something doesn’t make sense straight away, I’ll happily explain it in different ways until it clicks. My goal is to build your confidence, deepen your understanding, and help you feel motivated to reach your very best.
