About Grace

I am an experienced English tutor with over 4 years of teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing in Applied Linguistics. I specialize in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), supporting students in mastering the skills they need for higher education. I help learners write research papers, understand lectures, and expand their academic vocabulary effectively. My experience includes working with university students and international learners preparing for study abroad or advanced courses. I focus on practical strategies such as referencing, note-taking, and structuring clear, coherent arguments. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, ensuring they gain confidence in academic communication. I guide students through complex texts, analytical writing, and critical thinking exercises. We practice reading comprehension, essay writing, and oral presentations to strengthen all aspects of academic English. I emphasize clarity, organization, and precision, making challenging concepts approachable. My teaching is interactive, structured, and supportive, helping learners progress steadily. I celebrate small victories and build skills that last beyond the classroom. With patience and encouragement, I aim to make academic English not only manageable but enjoyable. My goal is to help students succeed and feel confident in every academic task.

English

My teaching approach focuses on making English learning creative, practical, and inspiring. I blend structured lessons with engaging activities that help students express themselves confidently. We explore creative writing, poetry, and fiction-based learning to make language enjoyable and meaningful. Vocabulary development is woven into every lesson, helping learners communicate more clearly and effectively.

I encourage reading, writing, and storytelling as tools for imagination and skill-building. Short exercises, games, and prompts make lessons dynamic and interactive. I focus on practical use of English while nurturing creativity and self-expression. Lessons are designed to be adaptable, catering to travelers, hobbyists, and anyone aiming to improve fluency.

I guide students to think critically, write freely, and speak with confidence. Mistakes are opportunities to learn, not obstacles. I provide feedback and strategies that help learners progress steadily. Each session is structured yet lively, making language learning memorable and enjoyable. My goal is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help every learner succeed in English.
