About Erica
Hello! I'm Dr. Erica Newcomb, a passionate educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching and mentoring young learners. I hold a Doctorate in Curriculum Design, as well as Master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Mathematics Leadership. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to helping students build strong academic foundations while nurturing a lifelong love of learning. My expertise lies in working with elementary-aged children, particularly in developing skills in reading, writing, and math. I believe every child is capable of success when given the right support, encouragement, and tools tailored to their individual learning style. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy mentoring young leaders and designing engaging, hands-on learning experiences. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve academically but also to boost their confidence and independence as learners.

As a Doctor of Education with a strong foundation in elementary education and over two decades of experience, I bring a personalized, student-centered approach to tutoring.
