About Gazala

I am currently a Medical Student at Cardiff University with a strong academic background in the sciences, having achieved four A grades in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at A level*. My academic success reflects not only a deep understanding of these subjects, but also the effective study techniques and exam strategies required to achieve top grades.

Alongside my studies, I work as a private tutor, supporting students in developing confidence and improving their performance in science subjects. I understand that Chemistry can sometimes feel challenging, so I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their understanding step by step.

I am a reliable, organised and patient tutor who is committed to helping students reach their full potential. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build the confidence and problem-solving skills that will support their future academic success.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on building a strong understanding of core concepts while developing the exam skills needed to achieve top grades. Chemistry can often feel overwhelming, so I aim to break complex topics down into simple, clear steps and explain them in a way that is easy to understand and remember.

I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I tailor lessons to suit their individual needs. I use a combination of clear explanations, worked examples, and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding. A strong emphasis is placed on practising past paper questions and developing effective exam techniques, as this is one of the most important ways to improve grades in Chemistry.

I achieved four A grades in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at A level* and I am currently a Medical Student at Cardiff University. Through my academic experience and tutoring work, I understand the challenges students face when studying Chemistry and how to overcome them effectively.

My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A level Chemistry students who want to strengthen their understanding of the subject, improve their confidence, and achieve higher exam results.
