I enjoy guiding students to achieve their goals. In my lessons, I explain theoretical topics before we practice together using foundational examples. We then quickly move on to more challenging problems. You will rapidly develop skills in math, physics, and chemistry; in fact, most of my students see a significant improvement in their scores.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I chose to pursue private tutoring after retiring from my career as an engineer. Throughout my professional life, I always found great
satisfaction in guiding my colleagues to help them understand and retain the technical and theoretical concepts we used at work
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach mathematics, physics, and chemistry. I enjoy discussing study strategies with my students and teaching them how to effectively
approach problem statements. Because of this, they quickly become independent learners and achieve their target grades.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

I had many teachers and tutors who taught in a simple way, without overcomplicating the concepts, and who used everyday analogies. This made me truly admire and respect them.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

Versatility to use different viewpoints around a concept and to change the perspective of the explanation when a student is not understanding a subject. Also, a true vocation and the ability to put yourself in the student's shoes to understand their difficulties and help them overcome them.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

In school, my teachers noticed that I loved explaining things, so they would seat the student who was failing the subjects next to me. There was one time when this classmate actually outscored me in grades. Years later, we crossed paths again, and he told me that I had a
profound impact on his academic life. I felt incredibly grateful for his message, and it inspires me to continue using this gift to help
    others.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

The greatest difficulty or challenge I encountered is when a student does not want to study and only comes to my class because their
parents require them to take private tutoring. The willingness to study begins when the person truly wants to progress and chooses to
attend of their own free will. However, presenting myself as a helper rather than someone who judges or measures their results helps the
student gradually want to attend freely.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I have a passion for arts and crafts. I studied artistic drawing at an academy, and for that reason, in addition to tutoring in scientific
subjects, I also offer tutoring in graphite drawing, colored pencils, and watercolor.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)?

I believe that genuinely sharing in the happiness of my students' achievements, knowing that I played a part in them, is what makes me a
    Superprof.
