About Sphoorthi
I am a dedicated tutor passionate about mental health and psychology. My classes prioritize constant engagement, fostering a thought-provoking environment for both myself and the students. Tutoring promotes mutual growth, allowing me to learn alongside my students.
My work as a clinical practitioner and researcher keeps me abreast of the latest developments in the field. For over a decade, I have conducted training programs with psychology students and individuals outside formal psychology education, such as parents and teachers, reflecting my teaching expertise.

As a passionate tutor, I adopt experiential learning that ensures psychological concepts are easily understood and applied in real-world situations.
Each class will have theoretical discussions to ensure a strong understanding of concepts, complemented by illustrations, and then move to relating these concepts to real-life observations.
I assign thought-provoking homework to encourage deeper reflection and critical thinking.
With an empathetic and personalized teaching style, I understand each student's unique needs, creating a supportive learning environment and jointly decide some tasks like evaluation.
I teach individuals at both undergraduate and higher levels, helping them connect with psychology in a relatable, meaningful way.
