About David
I have been an ESL instructor for over 20 years, living and working in both Japan and Canada. My students have ranged in ages from elementary school students to retirees, from beginners to advanced (who mainly want to maintain their levels.) I have a Bachelor's degree, as well as Advanced TESOL and CELTA certifications.

My lessons are all about you, with me there to encourage you, improve your skills, provide useful and helpful feedback, and have you communicating better in English. I am comfortable with all levels of students, from beginner to advanced. Whatever your level, I can help you. My lessons will start with formal materials (ESL textbooks) but will then focus on what you need. I strongly believe in lots of role plays to practice what you've learned, and to offer more natural ways to say what you need/want to say.
